We are here to support smallholder farmers across West Africa
In sub-Saharan Africa, smallholder farmers produce about 80% of the food we eat. Smallholder agriculture remains the dominant economic activity for many people in sub-Saharan Africa. That is why we have developed a number of initiatives to ensure smallholder agriculture is profitable to ensure food sustainability in West Africa and beyond.
REDI
REDI is an extension service model designed by MBC Africa that combines business and technical skills training for smallholder farmers and Farmers Based Organizations (FBO).
mFinance, our flagship project, seeks to provide smallholder farmers with the skills they need to scale and also help them shift from farming as a means of subsistence to a business.
